The Sun & Jupiter Join Mercury & Neptune...Good News Is Coming!

Yesterday's theme continues as Mercury affects our attitude in ways that "shape shift" with each passing hour. Although this encourages us to withdraw into our own little worlds, the Sun-Jupiter link adds a touch of goodwill, generosity and humor to the day. This could lead to being excessive and going overboard...which is ok so long as the the credit card stays at home. Will the USA default on its debt? Not likely today.

Which brings to mind "exactly what is going on in Washington"? Well, let's start with the fact that both political parties have contributed to our existing financial mess..let's face it, the debt has been accumulating over years, if not decades. It appears as if there is a Mexican standoff taking place on Capitol Hill, and by bringing it so close to the deadline, this is sure to capture our national attention. AND in an effort to avoid going into delinquency, our politicians are sure to find a compromise which is sure to include cuts in services (Medicare and Social Security). Both parties can then walk away from the "issue" without the "issue" undermining either party come election time. Strange bedfellows, eh? Now you better understand Neptune in Pisces, the planet of illusions and delusions. On the bright side Neptune can bring clarity if one really looks.

It's a Mercury-Neptune Day

Our minds could tend to drift off into la-la land today, which could help artistic types with creative ideas. The desire to escape into another reality may be found in a good book or DVD, or through mystical and/or spiritual channels. Be clear in how you communicate, and double check the details so as to avoid misunderstandings. Another idea to consider: speak to God and your Angels... and not just inside your head. This is a time to be specific in detail that which you wish to come true, whether in writing or the spoken word.

It's A Sun-Pluto & Mercury-Venus Day !

We may be tempted to enforce our will power today, with a "by God I will get my way" attitude, but be aware that you could run into more resistance to your plans than expected. A desire to do things spontaneously could overwhelm us and lead us to really productive outcomes, or it could side track us towards tasks that get thwarted and leave us frustrated. Choose wisely.
Helping us navigate the day are conversations and discussions that could lead to more harmony and love. We are on the brink of a Mercury retrograde and this tends to create changes of schedules and failure(s) of equipment that could really irritate us, and being aware of this is half the battle. Simply acknowledging this potential can make the next three weeks easier to deal with in all of our daily activities.

It's A Uranus-Sun Day...What Can We Expect?

The answer may not be what we expect when Uranus is making contact to another planet, and having a Plan A and a Plan B will always come in handy. Be flexible and go with the flow and you might end up doing something on the spur of the moment that can be fun and exciting. As far as the headlines are concerned a male figure(s) stands out in an unexpected or surprising development, as was the case with the untimely death of actor John Ritter on a similar day some years ago. Whether or not an event is positive or negative depends on factors that are impossible to calculate without having every chart of every single human being on the planet, but wisdom tells us that all things happen at their right and perfect time.

So, I wonder what today will bring?

July 2011

This is a month to remember for the USA, as it is not only our national birthday month but it is also coincides with a Solar Eclipse in the sign of Cancer. Intense energies are created with the planets Pluto, Uranus, Saturn and the Solar Eclipse (featuring the Sun and Moon) and sadly, for the economy, as houses of money are involved. Cardinal signs indicate a time for taking action, and the planets involved suggest radical changes in the (short) years ahead. Above all else, remember Pluto is in Capricorn, and it signals radical reform for the sign it contacts. In this case Capricorn means leadership and business, and what we are waking up to is the realization that business IS the government. Our leaders are merely puppets for corporations who have gathered enormous powers over all of us...and with it two classes: the rich and the poor. The banks just won a major battle with Congress, and soon we will be paying higher rates on all debit transactions, and with the check soon to become obsolete, everyone will be affected. So is there a silver lining on the horizon? It all depends on our willingness to become involved, and as a stepping stone in this direction we have 3rd parties emerging like the Tea Party. Rather than take "sides" as to which political party is better, the point is that change is coming...and it seems rather long overdue!
