Aries New Moon April 10th-Visualize Your Future!

Spring has arrived, and with it a burst of renewed energy and enthusiasm! The calendar moves on a different rhythm from that of the planetary one, as this is the cycle that starts the year astrologically. The zodiac starts with the sign of Aries and ends with Pisces, thus Aries marks the beginning. So "beginnings" are what are being emphasized now, and being aware of this now allows you greater control on where your journey takes you.

Vision and visual imagery is an important part of the Aries New Moon and using it allows us to create our goals. Pictures and videos can be used to reinforce our intentions, which we began to set last month by focusing on what we want to attract. Now we can take those ideas and find visual images that reflect what we want to achieve. Similarly the season of Spring is also punctuated with flowers of many colors, and birds and other wildlife going about their business. Life is emerging and the energy is almost palpable, urging us to get out and get moving. This correlations between nature and the planets is no accident, as both respond to the energy of the cosmos.

There is only one cycle this year that emphasizes visual imagery, so take time over the coming month to collect pictures that reflect your intentions and desires. No goal is too ambitious, and remember some goals may manifest earlier than others. Make an effort to collect them and if possible look at them daily. This is called "outer vision" and yet there is also "inner vision", which allows our minds to creatively form ideas and thoughts that can be put into action too. Some may call this daydreaming, while others may call it fantasizing but either way energy sparks the neurons in our brains, setting off endless possibilities.

Also spend time thinking about what you want to accomplish in the coming year, and SET YOUR INTENTION. Last cycle an exercise was suggested whereby you talk to God, and in doing so realize the power of words. Setting an intention does not mean "I want a relationship" unless of course any person will do. However more precise details might help you attract a compatible person by defining qualities you desire. Write out a list of qualities are you looking for and then define them in a single statement. Finding pictures that represent what you are looking for can then be used along with the statement/intention that you have created. Do this with the things you desire most, and avoid scattering your energies in too many directions, as further work will be required as the year progresses.

Once your image and intention are created plan on viewing it at least once a day, and more so if possible. The more energy that goes into focusing on your intentions the more likely they will manifest. As the year progresses and at each New Moon that follows you will re-connect to the intentions you have set, perhaps tweaking them over time.

Sign Forecasts For Pisces New Moon

Pisces: Happy Birthday to you...and what a year you have ahead! Seven planetary energies are in your sign, including a rare visit from your ruling planet Neptune, and this promises to make this a memorable month. At the very least are seeds being planted that will continue to grow for many months, perhaps even years. Stand up and get noticed! Tell your friends what it is you want, and be prepared to see some magic (OK, prayers really) happen. Your imagination knows no limits, so use it to create projects now or to affirm your future by knowing what it is you want. 

Aries: This is your "rest" cycle, so use it to re-charge your batteries when possible. Always eager to keep the pace going fast and furious, you are better off taking a few extra "zzz's" when you can. This is because Mars is about to enter your sign and with it comes increased motivation and passion. A cycle of new beginnings lies ahead, and you will be the one driving these changes, rather than having them imposed upon you. The unattached have romantic prospects looming ahead, so why not spruce up your appearance? You are sure to make a good impression, leaving you feeling better than you have in a while.

Taurus:  This cycle puts the focus on friends and your social circle, and you may have offers to social gatherings that could profit you in the end. Whether for personal or business reasons, your contacts can connect you with exciting opportunities that may extend beyond your expectations. This is because this region is also known as the "hopes, wishes and dreams" portion of your sign, however limit thinking that you will win the lottery. Instead, what have you yearned for over the past year or so? You could also re-connect with an old friend, and if so wish them well.

Gemini: Recent energies involving the planet Jupiter suggest positive changes in recent weeks, leaving you to finally feel more uplifted. This cycle finds the career sector being activated and this could be an excellent time to seek new employment or to see developments unfolding with your current position. However you are advised to wait until after March 18th to make any moves as Mercury is retrograde. Your distant future sees financial improvement, and possibly a big purchase. Keep this in mind as events unfold this month.

Cancer: These next few weeks are sure to see the pace of things pick up, as Mars triggers off your sign and the "big planetary picture" this cycle. Think "far away" as this region of your sign is affected, perhaps as foreign contacts or a desire to travel. Big ideas abound, leaving you to feel more confident about your future. Legal matters and education are other ideas to consider, but remember your guardian angel (Jupiter) lies in the region of being "saved". No doubt you know this already, as Jupiter has been in this region for some time. Prepare for happier days ahead, by affirming what it is you want.

Leo: This cycle brings up financial matters, which can manifest in a number of ways. For those that are attached this could mean changes to their partner's income, perhaps in the form of a bonus or in a decision to change jobs. Other ideas to consider could include insurance settlements, refunds of gifts (inheritances) and/or tax related matters. Debts and how you intend on dealing with them is yet another idea; essentially this month marks the time for "seeding" a big change to come. This is because the region is all about the "Sphinx that rises from the ashes" which implies you are ready to make a big life change and figuring out how you can do this with the money you have on hand.

Virgo: Significant others and partnerships are in focus this cycle, and for the unattached this could signal important connections of the romantic kind. Attached Virgo's will have their partner in the spotlight, which in turn impacts them. Obviously if there have been problems with the relationship then this cycle could signal decisions about the future you have together. Perhaps more than anything, this cycle finds other people in the spotlight, rather than yourself, which require you to accommodate them. This is not limited to significant others, as it could well mean assisting someone else through an important period in their life. For Virgo this is a piece of cake as helping others feeds your soul.

Libra: This may be the month you consider approaching matters of diet and health from a new perspective, with the goal of feeling better and more vital. Saturn's presence in the area of the physical body only amplifies this message, which dates back almost three years now. Rather than focusing on the needs of others, now is the time to put you as number one! Employment matters are also activated, which might mean being busy or perhaps in search of new work. Your routine is changing, and so are you!

Scorpio: If you are single this could be the month you make a magic connection, whereas committed Scorpio's may have issues tied to children to attend. Don't overlook the idea of grandchildren either. It's time to kick up your heels and to have some fun, so get out of your comfort zone and make connections! Soon you will have work related energies being activated and until then think about a weekend getaway and let your hair down. Creativity may reach an all time high so if this should be something you want then get to it and let that energy flow.

Sagittarius: Housing and family matters are in the spotlight, manifesting in many ways such as remodeling projects or even moving. Family includes the biological one you sprang from as well as the one you may have created. Water issues may need to be addressed, perhaps as plumbing issues or flooding. Bathrooms and kitchens are especially accentuated, and who knows? you might decide to buy a new sink. Relax and enjoy the benefits of your personal life, and deal with business matters as needed.

Capricorn: Paperwork and contracts are high lighted, as are siblings and neighbors (tenants too). Your mind is on overdrive and you have a lot of fact checking to do, but doing so ensures more piece of mind. Workshops and learning environments may call to you now, as could communication via networking, emailing or phoning. You have a lot to sort out and consulting with others may help you get clear about where you stand. The issue of cars is another possibility, and if planning to buy one wait until after March 18th.

Aquarius: Money, money, money. This is what matters this cycle and this could mean changes in income, or perhaps additional sources of revenue being made available. Major purchases are another idea to consider, although best put off until after March 18th. Even so any purchases this cycle are likely to be well considered and very much what you want. In other words you may feel compelled to indulge in yourself, and most likely on objects of beauty.

Time to focus on what you want for the coming year!

The Sun rotates through the year in cycles that are commonly associated with calendars that run from January through December; however in astrology these cycles run from the Aries New Moon through the Pisces New Moon. The progression of time marks each season, each very different from the others. This progression of time shifts in planetary terms, allowing a pattern to repeat every nineteen years. This means that the approaching New Moon and those that follow will "echo" issues that you experienced nineteen years ago.

Does this mean we are predestined to repeat the same experience? The answer lies in choice (Free Will) and we have the power to change our course through conscious effort. This does not exclude Divine Will, and what God has in mind may very well be a mystery. However for the sake of this article we are focusing on what we CAN do to change our lives for the better, and one tool that may help are the phases of the Sun and the Moon. Each new cycle starts with a New Moon, which lasts approximately 29 days.

The Pisces New Moon falls under what is called the Balsamic Moon in the annual cycle, and this cycle is about "releasing and letting go" as well as preparing for the year ahead. The Balsamic phase is symbolic of an "incubator" and underneath the surface lies new life forming, waiting to be unleashed at the Aries New Moon (April 10th) and the months thereafter. This concept may require an imaginative mind, but great feats in life always start with a dream,  even against occasional odds. This concept is the basis of many stories that have permeated all cultures throughout time.

So, this means that our "dream" for the year ahead lies in what we do with the next 30 days or so, and it is crucial to know exactly what you want rather than on what you don't want. Another possibility, often chosen, is not doing anything and allowing random to occur. But even this choice reflects the energies we expressed and eventually get back as the year unfolds. This is a cycle for clearly projecting your dreams, perhaps through affirmation and prayer, and when repeated over and over a "signal" is emitted for the Angelic Kingdom to hear. Another way of expressing this is "thoughts are things" and if you find yourself engaged in disputes and quarrels then you are sending that signal to be unleashed throughout the coming year. However by consciously choosing to avoid negative situations and conversations then you are inviting a much different experience, enhanced by focusing your attention on what you actually want.

Another concept associated with this time of year and the Balsamic phase is the idea that God is in charge. For the spiritually inclined this may make a difference, and a little effort now can have huge returns later. Imagine if you can sitting in the presence of God and God asking you what it is you want at this time. Rather than imagine this, have that conversation with spoken words and see what happens. Chances are you will find yourself stumbling upon the right or correct word, because after all, you are talking to God. This is an exercise that will make you keenly aware of your thought patterns, which may not be as clear as you think.

This cycle has the potential to change your entire year ahead. Now it's up to you to do something with it. Here's an affirmation that reflects the intention of this article:
