No One Is Paying Attention....So Why Am I Doing This?

The world of ever changing technology creates excitement when conquering something like Blogger or WordPress, but more often than not leads to the question "why am I doing this"? No one is paying attention, except for Facebook, which will soon rule the world. 

It's been a while since posting a blog....

I have been out of touch for some time now because of my Mom's challenging health issues that led to her passing on November 13th (a Friday interestingly enough). I had the honor of being with her at this critical time, and am thankful for the support of medical professionals that also helped. Regardless of how much you think you are prepared for an event of this nature, when it does occur it sweeps you away into a world far removed from the one we are most familiar with on this earthly plane.

A memorial service was held on January 16th, and at this time I (and others) celebrated her life with memories of her generous and kind nature through our personal experiences with her. A maverick in the real sense, she gave me the opportunity (life) to live out my karma as the first role model to stand up to. Words can never completely convey the numerous things that could be said, suffice it to say I will miss Mom and look forward to connecting again some time in the near distant future. I love you Mom.

Thoughts on Who Will Win Voting Day for Great Britain

Great Britain has an important vote taking place tomorrow and the major leaders are David Cameron (Conservative) and Ed Miliband (Labor). Their political process is quite different from ours, but using astrology as a tool to predict an outcome, it appears Ed Miliband may be celebrating by days end.

Mercury reverses course, from tomorrow until July 1st. It's all about communicating and saying what you feel! Are you holding back and not saying what's in your heart (Mozart feels better than the real world), over expressing your hurt feelings (get a grip on how you feel and put it into words!) or totally out of touch with what you feel (a life not really being lived)? It's about to come to a head in the next few weeks.

Scorpio Full Moon

Scorpio Full Moon is intense by sign alone, but add Saturn in the mix and things feel heavy. The simple take away message: what do you need to take responsibility for regardless of how you feel? The flip side of the coin is taking responsibility for your feelings and doing something no matter how risky it may seem (within reason). Trust and intimacy are keys to finding balance, whether in listening to your inner voice, letting go to let God or in being vulnerable to circumstances you can't change...or is it the other way around?

Taurus: Happy Birthday to you! This cycle you may have a case of “chatty Cathy syndrome” as Mercury snuggles up close to the New Moon chart. News could arrive that is likely to be profound but pleasant. Ideas abound, and your general state of mind has improved. The pressure at work these past few months is about to settle down, and the same could be said for any ongoing health issues. Plant your vision for the year ahead! 

 Gemini: Rest, relax and repeat. Soon the pace of things will pick up considerably so take things in stride. Finances may be on your mind, but there is a beam from Pluto that should help you solve whatever comes your way. In fact Jupiter has probably helped finances since July 2013, so your concerns may be more imaginary than real. Romance may have been rocky lately but that should change soon. 

Cancer: You get a spark of inspiration this cycle; and possibly from a friend or social outlet. Life has been challenging for some time, and big changes are being asked of you. Housing issues have demanded attention, and yet the time was not right…until now! You get the green light to move ahead on moving or fixing up, and if family disturbances have occurred then now is the time to extend that olive branch.

Leo: This has the potential for being a good month on the business front, possibly through news you receive. Could a raise be offered? Or perhaps another opportunity presents itself? Either way you can make the most of this by contacting your network of friends and family for potential leads. Be careful driving, and keep impulsive comments to yourself.

Virgo: Your mind soars with ideas, some of which will lead to interesting developments. Travel, publishing, education and legal matters are other ideas to consider. It feels good to be inspired, and to share that with others. If committed then with your partner, if single perhaps through a meaningful encounter with someone soon to be special. 

Libra: Your life has been racing along at full speed, only to feel like you are not getting anywhere lately. That’s about to change, and with it comes the desire to get something done! The issue of money may be a sensitive topic, especially because it requires you to consider someone else, but this is ultimately good for you. Important decisions may be made that affect housing and or family.

Scorpio: Other people may seem to be calling the shots this cycle, and this is particularly true for those with partnerships (personal or business). Recent months have found Mars activating a zone that could leave you feeling drained and tired, but that soon changes. The speed of life really picks up late July, so rest when possible. Jupiter moves into the career zone then as well, suggesting progress and improvement.

Sagittarius: This time of year often brings up issues connected to work, and this cycle may bring news that nicely impacts income. If in the position to ask for a raise do so, or at the least negotiate a review. If routine medical check-ups are needed the schedule this towards the end of the month. If you have children then recent months of disruption should begin to settle down. Singletons could meet someone through a friend.

Capricorn: Like other cardinal sign life has had its moments in recent months. With Mars going direct this should help with business matters. This cycle finds children and/or romantic energies being activated, and probably for the better. So get out and be seen, or plan a weekend getaway. This is the cycle for having fun, and plan on accepting help if offered. No one says you have to do it all!

Aquarius: Family and housing matters are central to this month’s activities, perhaps through a home improvement project and or reunion. There has been a lot of energy being channeled into travel, education, publishing and/or a legal matter and to some extend you may have felt stymied by the lack of progress. This soon changes and the planetary energies favor work related matters in a positive way.

Pisces: Cars, siblings and communication (in general) are in focus this cycle, and with Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto aligned to this New Moon favorably you are sure to be in a great state of mind. Venus occupies your sign too, providing you with the ability to make a good impression with others. Singletons or those looking to have children could soon find happiness, possibly by late July.

Aries: Issues connected to income and spending are highlighted this cycle, and this may signal employment developments. The tendency towards wanting nice things could be emphasized, but watch for over indulging. Partnerships have been energized for some time now, and the theme continues. Relaxing and enjoying your home (sanctuary actually) are provided by Venus and Jupiter, as home improvements and/or entertaining.
